The team

The City of London Corporation looks after and promotes the City of London, or Square Mile. It is headed by the Lord Mayor with the Court of Common Council being its main decision-making body. It is a uniquely diverse organisation, with a role that goes beyond that of an ordinary local authority. The City of London Corporation as a residential Landlord manages two housing estates in the Square Mile and 10 other estates situated in six different London boroughs.

Within The City of London Corporation, the Department of Community and Children's Services (DCCS) has a wide remit to provide care and support to the residential and worker population of the City of London. Within the DCCS, the Major Works Team consists of Project Managers, Asset Managers, Clerk of Works and Asset Monitoring Officers, currently managing projects at various stages of design and delivery across City Corporation housing estates.
